The start of the year has been great for the Celtic Forest Team. There's so much great news we want to share like introducing you to one of our new friends HUG RUG.


The world’s most environmentally friendly barrier mat, manufactured entirely from recycled materials and 100% British made. 

Hug Rug is a highly effective barrier mat. ‘Designed from the outset to have a light environmental footprint helping protect the world WE live in – Engineered to keep dirty footprints out of the home YOU live in.’The Hug Rug is manufactured using recycled cotton but then here’s the clever bit – the cotton is then combined with an advanced micro fibre, which is thinner than a human hair, and is able to attract dirt and dust molecules very efficiently, in fact they can absorb over 4 times their own weight in water or liquid allowing the rug to trap up to 95% of dust, wet mud, water and dirt. They are fully washable and become more absorbent with each wash.
