Here's a little info about Spalted Beech Wood

Here's a little info about Spalted Beech Wood:

Spalting is any form of wood coloration caused by fungi and after colonising the wood cells from the ends or from broken off branches, it leaves a very attractive pattern. Although primarily found in dead trees, spalting can also occur under stressed tree conditions or even in living trees. Beech is the most common to spalt.

Celtic Forest are working with this beautiful wood and as you see the textural qualtiies are very special.
